I’m a coach and operations specialist who helps neurodivergent adults thrive at work.
I have about 15 years of Operations and Retail Operations experience, working with companies as diverse as Lush and Amazon and scaling startups.
Who Am I?
I’m a certified ADHD coach, have been managing, mentoring and coaching both Neurodivergent and Neurotypical people throughout my career and have two decades of work experience both pre and post my own AuDHD diagnosis.
I’m a reader, a nerd and a lover of cozy games and RPGs and if I can gamify my productivity, I will.
My Background
I founded The Divergent to combine my experience in operations and people development and my
experience of navigating the workplace as a neurodivergent adult.
I’ve worked for about 15 years in retail operations and operations, a lot of that in start-up or launch
environments.
Throughout my career, I have always been a people manager and my development and mentorship skills have generally been my most praised skillset. In addition to this, a great deal of my operations experience has been developing systems and processes for everything from handovers and communications to training, processes and organisational planning.
Following my own diagnosis of ADHD and Autism in 2021, I threw myself into learning everything I could about how to accommodate neurodivergent brains in the workplace, becoming a source of expertise not just for myself and my managers, but for other managers and employees in my network.
Earlier this year, I took the decision to take a step back from general operations roles and to use my unique skills, experience and background to focus full time on transforming the working experience for neurodivergent adults and developing a neuroaffirmative working culture for the future.
Services
1:1 Coaching
a 12-week block of weekly 1 hour sessions. These sessions are neuro-affirmative and
collaborative; I will share exercises to help us to uncover your working style, strengths and challenges and
we use this knowledge together to discuss skills systems and processes that will allow you to achieve your
chosen goals. I follow a framework that focuses on executive function and the work we do is designed to
leave you with a lasting understanding of how your brain works and tools that work with your brain, instead
of training your brain to work with other peoples’ systems.
Small Group Coaching
Following a similar structure as 1:1 coaching but adapted slightly for small groups. This method of coaching can suit work teams, but can be customised for any small group with shared similar aims. Contact me to discuss this offering.
Workplace training
I can deliver workplace training, either as a presentation or workshop. I will always tailor these to your workplace, industry and needs but common topics include: Neurodiversity 101, people management across neurotypes, neuroaffirmative workplace operations and creating a working style passport.
